Aktiviti terbengkalai?

Came back home for the CNY break last week and spotted this on one of our house's plants in our porch.

Yes, an actual bird's nest!
For the past few days all of us have been pleasantly observing the construction work from a distance. If you look closely, it's made up of all sorts of things, not only twigs but plastic bits, strings and paper strips from i-don't-know-where.

I was really looking forward to the day when the construction work is done and they'll actually move in.

Then....
one day....sis told me that the bird never came back..left the nest and the construction work.
What?!...WHY?!
cos, dad tried to help the bird with its construction work; gave extra support to the nest by attaching more strings to its nest and the plant's stem.
The bird came back, saw what has been done to its nest and left.


Sadness and speechless.
Now there's no room for the pregnant one to lay its eggs.
No new addition to our home.
No more construction work.
Only abandon construction site.
