On hindsight, 2007 has been filled with many ups and downs
Some highlights of the year 2007:-
Bangkok - This trip to Bangkok was significant to me not only because it was my first but it invovled the entire Yee clan. Grandpa & grandma, aunt & uncle, cousins, sis & bro,mum & dad. It has been a long time since we had such a trip together , what more a trip overseas to usher in the New Year, 2007. Left for Bangkok in three different groups, on three different planes, arriving at 3 different times, staying in four separate bedrooms. It was soo fun hopping from one bedroom to another, as they were all on the same floor. It was such a fun trip!
Final Year Project aka FYP - the reason for many sleepless nights, heart attacks and datelessness. Worked on a termite mushroom species called the Termitmomyces heimii. Like what i've mentioned in some of my previous posts, the FYP has taught me many many things, spiritually, emotionally & physically. The pinnacle of your tertiary education, they say. To a certain extent, yes.
Perhentian Island- Another mini milestone. My very first snorkelling experience. Contrary to what others believe, it was a good trip not because of hunks found in the island but because i really had fun chilling out with the friends who accompanied me on this trip, the things i've seen while snorkelling and the things i've experienced going on this trip.
POTs- Working and getting to know people, seeing and hearing for myself, encouraged and being encouraged. Retreat and refreshed.
Dengkil National Service Camp - Though it was just one night, it was still good exposure for me to be able to see for myself how NS camps were like and a bonus to be able to join them in their CF and interact (brief!) with some of them.
Hong Kong and Hanoi.
Chew and Fi's wedding.
2008 will be really exciting because it'll be the end of something and the start of something new. Another transition in life.
Thank You for your faithfulness.
