Going back to school in the first week was more of a reminiscence of yesteryears than a practical. Attending the assembly (albeit standing on the other side of the hall now), going to classes and staying back for extra-curriculars brought me back to those days, to those zaman kegemilangan in school. Couldn't help but when i looked at my students with different attitudes and antics, it tickles me because i could see us in them, how i could identify some of them with some of us and how in my heart, i would laugh out loud because of the things that we did and now they are doing it. Not to mention, school assemblies so far has put me in a state subconsciousness; my flesh in the hall, my mind reveling in my own schooling years and all the experiences that comes with it.
No doubt, thus far, it has also been a learning experience in many ways. Am still learning to walk the walk of a teacher, the ways of the trade, the selok-belok of being an educator.
Not easy but i know it isn't difficult either.
Where most of my lessons are conducted...
Took this one morning upon reaching the school. Stood in awe . Thought it was magnificent. Students must be thinking i'm peculiar now.
Teach me O Lord, to teach them.
