The countdown is on and by now atheletes from all over should have arrived in Beijing for the big day tomorrow. Despite the hoo-ha about boycotting the games because of the political strives, the issues on human rights in Sudan and the recent calamities, i think China has come a long way in making this right, a success.I, personally am hoping tomorrow's opening night would be a bang. To alot of people, especially the Chinese, the Beijing Olympics is both huge and emotional. I know for one, my grandparents have been talking about this for the longest time and to them it's a milestone for China. It's an event, at least what i think, would allow the Chinese people to be hopeful again after all that has happened in the past.
