Big Apple - of Times Square & Broadway

Even as im writing this, im still digesting everything that has happened in the last 2weeks. The whole American experience was a blast and im still recovering from the aftermath of it.

New York is just so full of life that it's no wonder people from around the globe wants to have a slice of it..city of life, labels, lights and love.

here are snippets of the popular Times Square and Broadway in Manhattan from my Nikon E4600....



Times Square, NYC; where the massive New Year's countdowns are held annually...

This place is so dynamic with the neon lights and animated billboards.. It's even more lively in the night with the neons all lighted up...


Even the NYPD's station has cool neon lights..

One must go place in Times Square is this store...M&M's world..

It's not called M&M's world for no reason..it has 3 stories selling M&M's merchandises..from chocs to t-shirts to stationery.
and this is my favourite... M&Ms wall with large tube dispensers all filled with different colours, sizes and flavours of M&Ms...

$12 per pound....self service..fill up your own bag, weigh and pay at the counter.... i guess that makes it even more exciting..filling up your own coloured M&Ms...

they even have multi coloured ones...


Another highlight was catching a Broadway show for cheapo student price... so happy..

to me..it's not just being able to watch Patti Lupone and her team perform but the whole package of Broadway...from seeing how ppl wait in line before the show starts.. still dressed up to watch the show, how they have pre-cocktail drinks and etc...it's just overwhelming because everything that i used to see only on tv suddenly comes to life. It's like, " Oh wow, people really, actually do such things.."

And this applies not only for Broadway..but for everything while in NYC

That's why...i'm still digesting..
