Work. offline.

I've gone MIA for awhile and there were reasons for it. At the same time, i guess im going through a phase; a phase which i reckoned most blog writers may have felt at one point of their blogging life. The phase of not having any urge/want/inspiration to pen down my thoughts. There were times i felt that it was time to pull the plug and draw the curtains.
But as i looked back at the archives, i realised that this small space in cyberworld has, one way or another helped sort out my thoughts and has seen me through my final months during my difficult times on campus, i decided otherwise.

Aug - Dec 08 was restful for me. Ive had many many occasions of good fun and just enjoying the company of my family, old friends and new friends. No due dates to meet, no work stress, no agendas to follow.

There were just too many ups during those months to list them one by one but here's one of them.

Adelaide! Attended my cousin's wedding in Nov 08. My first wedding experience in a foreign land. All these years ive only attended Chinese weddings and maybe one or two Malay ones. To be able to see how people of a different culture hold their big day was really good. One thing which i liked best was how simple the whole thing was. Im hoping to post up some pictures as soon as i can catch hold of them and im sure you'll like the idea of getting hitched in a vinery too. It was really nice.

There were also some downs. And one of the many downs was the persistent rash.
Some of you would've known how annoyingly persistent the red dots/bumps were. It came on suddenly and for a very long time, we couldn't pin point what the underlying cause was. Im just glad that we can finally diagnose the problem and am trusting Him to pull me through this too.

So very fast, 2008 has come and gone.
2009 is already here.
B.Obama is already the new US President and
ive begun the rat race.

It's still too early to comment on work. I know it's already 3 weeks into it but many a times i feel im still in that "chill+relax" mode which could be the after effects of having 5months of doing nothing.
So far though, im just glad/thankful that i am where i am now.
