This is totally random, but it struck me.Disaster after disaster have befell this nation since the beginning of 2008.

First was the snow...
1) The snow storm struck in Feb which left thousands of people stranded in the city; not being able to reunite with their families to celebrate the Lunar New Year and with more than 50 killed.

Then came the quake...
2) Sichuan Province's Earthquake with a Richter Scale of about 7.8, with more than 50 thousand dead and millions homeless.

Then the flood...
3) Guangdong's flood which saw many homeless, billions in damage and hundreds killed.

and then there was the recent flood +typhoon in Hong Kong.

Snow storm - earthquake - flood -typhoon. One after another.

I know i'll never be able to understand the massiveness of their damage, i'll never be able to understand their sufferings and it would be fake to say that i empathize with them.


But this i know, that He is still in control.

And I will be still, know You are God
