What's whippin' ?

Haven't had a chance to whip something up for a long long time. Thought it was about time i take out the cake tins again. And so on Saturday, with Ching calling for her last supper, i knew the "chimneys" had to work again!

Mum handed me a recipe which she stumbled upon while reading a magazine. Nothing elaborate, not complicated at all.

i've always wondered who were the first few people who thought that when you mix some flour, sugar and butter...POP!...you'll get a cake...and how did they know how much to put in.....with no measuring cups, weighing machine ...

initially...i was quite settled with no frills (no cream and toppings..), then saw some pics of good looking cupcakes with cream and all & thought...let me try those..!..so yea.. hence this...
