THE bend

Sometimes we just do not know what lies around that bend.
One minute we can be on top of the world, thinking that we can rule the world,
invincible & nothing could stop us,
the other minute, we can be as powerless as a falling leaf ,
yielding wholly to the external, invisible forces of Nature.
One minute i can be so certain that life's journey would take me on that anticipated path, and the next minute, i can hardly see what lies ahead of me.

Sometimes i think i know it all..but when life takes on a different and foreign course, unexpectedly, i know then, i don't know at all..
Sometimes it's scary. Sometimes it's exciting and sometimes, i just choose not to ponder on it further knowing that i'll never know what will happen regardless of how i feel, powerless or not.

I need only to trust & obey.

In Christ alone, I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory, let it be said of me

My source of strength

My source of hope

Is Christ alone.

It's easier said (or sing) than done.
