Even now as i'm writing, it still doesn't feel like 14 days have passed since we had the reunion dinner but yes, today marks the end of the first month of the lunar new year, which also means that tonight people will also flock to the nearest river/lake/drain to throw their mandarins with hopes of finding 'The One'. It's quite an interesting thing to do actually and whoever started this tradition..hats off to you, cause whatever the act of throwing the mandarins into the river symbolizes or whether it really helps in searching for the one, i guess in a way it gives people hope, hope that 'The One' is out there..wherever he/she is.
Some people say it's only the desparados who will do it while some say it contributes to water pollution..bla..bla...
I don't know. I just think it's quite interesting, and i wouldn't mind doing it for fun.
