when you say nothing at all

Thursdays for me are both good and bad. Good because classes end at 1pm and i'm all free to do whatever till night, good because it's basketball day and good because it's also cg day.

Bad because class starts at 9am which is quite early compared to other days where classes begin only at 10 or 12 noon.
Hence, basic arithmetics, 3goods-1bad = 2 goods

So, yea, thursdays, overall are good.

But yesterday was different. It started off bad..
Was running late to a test so decided to drive to the faculty area instead of waiting for the bus.
Parked at a undesignated area and headed off straight to the hall..Everything was alright until i came out from the hall and back to the car and saw a slip with this written on it...

" Dengan dukacitanya dimaklumkan bahawa kereta saudara/saudari yang berdaftar B--7---
, berwarna biru dan berjenama -- telah dikenakan denda atas kesalahan lalulintas 38/-- (parking atas rumput) akta Universiti, Bahagian Keselamatan, Unit lalulintas, Universiti....
Sila ambil tindakan yang sewajarnya dalam tempoh 48jam pengeluaran slip saman. Jika tidak, pihak universiti berhak menamatkan tempoh pengajian pelajar. Sekian, harap maklum."

"Dukacitanya"... summed up my feelings when i saw it.
Seeing the slip, i knew it was no love letter. It was THE slip and my heart dropped seeing it from afar. Lesson 1 learned. Shall go earlier for tests and classes so that i could avoid driving and parking. Lesson 2 learned. Shall avoid all grassy area. The perils of driving...


This is the second major denda throughout my stay here in uni. I remember committing my first offense in the library and having my borrowing rights stripped for 2 months. It was traumatic.

This time, it was not as traumatic, but inconvenient. Had to make two trips to get the summon settled.

After that, it was back to my normal Thursday routine.

Basketball then CG.
Played in the rain, ran back to our rooms drenched.

Didn't matter, cos i had fun.
