boon, yune, myself and synd during CG
It's funny how sometimes when you want to be an encouragement to someone, sometimes, the opposite happens and you are encouraged by them instead. Being the older ones in the group, sometimes i feel the need to encourage the younger ones but many times, they've been an encouragement to me, by just being who they are, sharing their lives and being real to the people around them.

That was how i tried to strike a conversation with 2 friends from China staying on the same floor as i am. And i'm glad i did, cos the next thing i know, goodies from 'tanah nenek moyangku' were lying on my bed. They came over to our room after that and we started talking n laughing. Although i couldn't understand 60% or maybe more what was being said, but i could make up some of the words and imagined it, laughed when they started laughing and continue talking for about 3hours. I'm glad that my room mate was there. I don't know how it would have lasted for 3 hours if she wasn't in.
It's quite amazing how they've taken up the challenge to step out of their comfort zone and learn BM.
Don't know if filling this up would actually make a difference. Semester after semester we are required to fill up an evaluation form to evaluate our lecturers. But i really don't know if they actually take into account all that has been said and make a change. So sad if it's done only for the sake of doing it or to do it only because it's required by the university but gives no impact or change what so ever to the people involved.
